ABOUT US

Born to a British mother and a French father, I have been teaching both English and French since 2011. I am passionate about languages, teaching, and everything related to cultures!

I have taught a wide range of learners in France, New Caledonia, and Australia.

I hope to share this passion with you through this website and help you improve your language skills.

My experience

2009

My first years of teaching

On my return to New Caledonia, I discovered teaching by working in various high schools in Nouméa. At the age of 25, I decided to fly to Australia for a three-month stay that turned into a 4 year-experience.

Studies between the Pacific and France!

I graduated with a degree in English at the University of New Caledonia, I studied some time in Australia then moved to France and graduated with a master's degree in teaching French as a Foreign Language ! Travel and multiculturalism have always been part my life.

When I arrived in Sydney, I deepened my teaching by moving from secondary school teaching to English for adults. I taught a wide variety of students from all over the world, sharing with them my passion for languages and enjoying all the cultural diversity. When I arrived in Melbourne, I was given my first job as a teaching manager, but my heart called me back to New Caledonia.

I then embarked on a new adventure, joining a school specialising in language immersion stays. I managed all the educational aspects of the school: teaching programmes development, material and staff management, while at the same time teaching English courses at university.

2021

Begining of online teaching

In 2021, I had to start teaching online due to COVID. I decided to take the plunge and open my own company specialising in online courses for foreign expats in New Caledonia.

Foundation of Click and Speak with Laura

In 2024, I founded Click and Speak with Laura and dedicated myself to running the business.
